TravelcommThe worst vacation junk faxers we've ever had. Their latest scam is to fax you an news clip that looks like it came from USA Today and was supposedly written by Justin Kiely and Kathy Bogart. Here is the fax I got from them. The two reporters do not exist. Their article was just pasted on top of that article that appeared in the Money section on that day and faxed to you. The whole thing is phony and intended to dupe you into believing they are a credible operation. The number given in the article I got is 800-417-3710 and the equally mysterious handwritten note on the fax references the same phone number. But they change the phone number often to try to make it less likely you'll find a matching writeup when you do a web search. 800Notes.com has a great writeup of this at: (800) 417-2496. Be sure to look at all the pages (it is 3 web pages long so use the 2 and 3 link at the bottom of the first page). They use multiple phone numbers on the article so that if you do a web search, you're less likely to find a match. For example, they also use 1-800-419-5412 (see longer list of some of the numbers they use below). If you've been ripped off by Travelcomm aka Cancun Cheap Ticket, report it by filing a complaint online with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The more complaints, the stiffer the penalties. A lawsuit has been filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services against Travelcomm Industries Inc. To help them, the attorney handling the case has specifically requested that you report what happened to you using the link above. Also, there is a class action being started in California. The sales people use the phoney names Doug Fletcher, Esther Williams, Lamar, Lola Flores, etc. As of April 21, 2007, Fletcher's cell phone showed up first as 703-786-9999 which is in Arlington, VA and is a Sprint Cell Phone. But he called me later on the same day (April 21, 2007) and the callerID shows up as 407-226-1105 but that number is disconnected (at 4:20pm). So they are doing something to forge their callerID each time they call you. Remove numbers:

Run by Peter Sotolongo in Florida. He's THE guy to go after. They now seem to be using DigitalSpeed Communications. CAUTION: Cancunallinclusive.com is NOT the same company. The .com is a legit company not in any way associated with Sotolongo. It is the ".net" company that is Peter's. The problem is that when you call the number listed on the fax, they tell you (incorrectly) that their website is "Cancunallinclusive.com." This is probably just poor operator training on Peter Sotolongo's part; Peter spends a LOT of money on fax spamming and he's not going to want to refer a hot lead to someone else. Unfortunately, due to the poor training of the people at Cancunallinclusive.net, the honest people at Cancunallinclusive.com are getting bombarded with complaints. If you want to complain, you should be calling Cancunallinclusive.net at 800-594-7862 which as you can verify yourself, is answered by the same people as the number listed on your junk fax. Jan 18, 2006 The removal number plays the message: This removal number was shown on a fax received with the header: From: Corporate Travel Center Headline: They answer their information number, 1-800-635-0214, as "The Travel Center." The fax has a main advertisement "NOW YOU GET IT ALL!," for a two night all-inclusive Bahamas cruise and bonus trips to Orlando, FL, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Las Vegas, NV, and Puerto Vallarta, MX, all for ONLY $199.00 per person/dbl occur. As soon as "The Travel Center" learned that I was trying to find out more information about them, they hung up on me. This happened four times. I read the postings after the phone call and realized how much of a scam this was when the name Jerry Decker appeared in the posting, I spoke with him personally during the sales process.
