few months ago, and I got a response from their resident agent in CA when
I asked him whether they planned to pay the judgment (no). So they surely must
know what they are doing is wrong.

Apparently John Ames hasn't learned his lesson he is pulling other scams
that I will not get into, But, I think you should post this information.

I do not think this is phone number 800-579-7989. is actually the entity
known as COPIERS DIRECT. Although when Warren answers the phone live he says
“Order Direct”; If you call after hours the recording says “Corporate
Offices”
These clowns are still faxing of this week. I went by the Woodley address
today and they are long gone. According to the neighbors (a woodworking
shop) that shares the building; they have been gone close to three years.
The building still has a large sign neon that says COPIES on the top of the
building. Given the shape of the building, it appears the landlord doesn’t
want to spend the cash to remove it.

and Warren is at where the 800 number rings.
They are very evasive when I call the opposing number and ask for each
other, but they are clearly the same entity.
They returned my call from 818-837-0615 which is answered as "Order
Direct."
