Why you shouldn't harass spammersSure, you'll probably get away with it without them pressing charges against you. You could fax bomb, voicemail bomb, etc. them. I know. I've done all that. Harassment is a very very bad idea. You'll harm yourself, and harm the cause. If you know you're going to cost money to someone and you go ahead and do it, how are you any better than the junker? Skip the fantasies of revenge (no matter how clever and amusing) and study the law; that's what it's for. Harassment is not legal and it could theoretically land you in jail. And it won't shut them down. See
All you will have done will have wasted your time trying, and wasted a little of their time. Of course, if this class action doesn't work, and we can't fix the laws, then maybe I'll re-consider my advice to you. If you want some satisfaction, just report a junk fax or read our profiles of the most notorious spammers.
